Sesi Technologies (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the FarmSense mobile application (“FarmSense”, “the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the FarmSense App and related services.
By using FarmSense, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

  • Farmer & Farm Data: Farmer names, farm locations (GPS coordinates), crop types, and historical yield or soil data.
  • Test Records: Soil test results, crop recommendations, and agronomic notes.

b. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system, app version, unique device identifiers.
  • Usage Data: Actions taken within the app, feature usage statistics, and error logs.
  • Location Data: GPS location for farm mapping and soil test geotagging (only with your permission).

c. Third-Party Data

We may receive data from integrated services (e.g., weather APIs) to provide relevant recommendations.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the FarmSense App and services.
  • Process soil tests and generate personalised fertiliser and agronomic recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of farmers, farms, and soil health data.
  • Communicate with you about updates, new features, and support.
  • Analyse aggregated data to improve product performance and agricultural insights.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Your Organisation or Employer: If you use FarmSense as part of an agribusiness or agency programme.
  • Service Providers: For cloud hosting, analytics, or payment processing (bound by confidentiality agreements).
  • Government Agencies or NGOs: Only with your consent or when required by applicable law.
  • Legal Requirements: When necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect our rights.

If you access Agromarket from outside Ghana, be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in Ghana. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the App and on our website, with the “Effective Date” updated accordingly. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
